03/09/10 New EVO backrest systems pass Crash testing ISO 16840 >
As part of our development process our new systems have been tested in accordance to ISO standards and our new EVO & hardware system has been passed and can be used in vehicle transportation combined with a wheelchair seat and seatbelt system. Unwin Safety Systems tie-downs were used in the test and are the recommended wheelchair and occupant restraint for use with the EVO system and approved wheelchair that conforms to the requirements of ISO 7176-19.
